It is used with a special word (Cumu ?/How ?)

Other interrogative words :

Chì ? (adjective and pronoun : Which one ? who ? What ? )

Quale ? (pronoun : Who ? Which one ? )

Quandu ? (adverb : When ?)

The interrogation can also be noticed by the intonation only,  stressed by a question mark

Hè luntanu ?  (Is it far ?)

Alè, andemu ? (Come on, let’s go, shall we?)

Entrimu è a cumpremu ? (Shall we go in and buy it?)

A rossa cù i fiori ?   (The red one with flowers?)
